This is the sound of a full day of Junior Kindergarten. It was recorded on June 22nd 2017 in Toronto at Howard Public Junior School in area 11. You’ll hear all the sounds from the children’s day; from the school bell, to lunchtime, to music class.
I love nature sounds. In this sample you hear several birds calling including one very unhappy downie woodpecker, the wind in the trees, and sounds of water flowing after a spring rain. Recorded While hiking at Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington.

Crows make a wide variety of sounds and not just the “cawing” and often times shrill barking just after sunrise on a Sunday (sleep in) morning.
Some 15 to 20 chainsaws are all working hard to create beautiful artistic forms out of large tree butts. The finished works are displayed by Googling Campbell River or chainsaw carvings or some such descriptives.

I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but if you ask me nothing sounds more Canadian than hearing a TML playoff goal called in Punjabi.

We need them and you’ll like why! If you submit a sound we love, we’ll need to find you. Perhaps it’s to tell you your sound has been mixed by a prominent DJ and will air nationally, or that we’d like to feature the story behind your sound on CBC Radio, or perhaps a certain artist has taken an interest in your sound and wants to connect with to you directly. Seriously! Anyway you look at it, it’s all good.
Thank you for participating in the CanadaSound project in honour of Canada’s 150th –we hope you were inspired by the sounds and will join us on our journey to create the ultimate Canadian soundtrack. We’ll need a few personal details from you, as we may need to reach out to you again to talk more about your song, your story, and your musical contributions, or contact you for potential inclusion in CanadaSounds’ Ultimate Soundtrack. By filling out the form, you agree to be contacted by CanadaSound Inc.
