Like many Canadians, Ammoye loves being in cottage country surrounded by nature. The outdoors make her feel peaceful, free and centered— it’s also where she finds her artistic inspiration. Now instead of just letting her surroundings be her muse, she celebrates nature by blending it into her music. “The Light” is about the core of who she truly is inside. We can hear the sounds of lake water cascading over rocks, Canadian geese and ducks—sounds that bring her peace; now shared with her audience, to bring them solace as well.
