About Walk off the Earth:

Walk Off The Earth is a multi-talented five-piece rock band specializing in alternative rock, ska and reggae. They are known for their covers of pop genre music on Youtube and for using uncommon instruments such as the ukulele and the theremin, as well as looping samples. The current members of the band are Gianni “Luminati” Nicassio, Sarah Blackwood, Ryan Marshall, Mike “Beard Guy” Taylor and Joel Cassady, all of whom play multiple instruments.

Based in Burlington, Ontario, their 5-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” exploded on YouTube in early 2012, garnering well over 35 million views in under 2 weeks (and received positive responses from both Gotye and his co-singer on the song, Kimbra).

For the past 5 years, the band has built a massive global following of dedicated fans through their unique and heartwarming approach to songwriting, filming, and open interaction with everyone their music touches.
